Peter Boyle R.I.P.

It's a sad day. Peter Boyle has died from heart disease.

Man, I loved the guy. I guess he's most recently famous for his run as Ray Romano's dad in Everybody Love Raymond but he's always put in amazing performances in a few of my favourite films: As Mel Brooks' Frankenstein's monster in Young Frankenstein, The corrupt station manager against Sean Connery in Outland and one of the best X-Files episodes: Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose (1995).

He's going to be missed by me.

quote for the day:
Opera? Just what the world needs, more fat women screaming

bad santa

Ahh, it's gold. That Christmas cynic in me glows with the warmth of corrupt humanity and it's hilarious outcomes.

Harrod's has hire and fired what could only be the inspiration for Bill Bob Thornton's character in Bad Santa. The film rocks in my small opinion but I'm quite a fan of Billy Bob's understated acting style, he cracks me up.

Anyways, Harrod's very own Bad Santa can be found here in all his glory.

Sydney Morning Herald, December 7, 2006 - 9:41AM: Bad Santa Sacked.

quote for the day:
Kid: Your beard's not real.
Willie: No Shit!It was real, but I got sick and all the hair fell out.
Kid: How come?
Willie: I loved a woman who wasn't clean.
Kid: Mrs. Santa?
Willie: No it was her sister.
